Actor Refutes Anti-Vax Stance Following Lending His Voice To Controversial Coronavirus Documentary

The acclaimed actor has lent his narration to a recent film that casts doubt on the legitimacy of vaccines and lauds ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Contentious Basis

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a popular book written by Judy Mikovits, who gained notoriety during the pandemic for assertions that Covid was caused by a problematic version of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, a producer, has penned books with far-right figure a known commentator. He took to social media hailing Neeson's role in the project.

A Firm Statement

A spokesperson for Neeson have released a response strongly denying suggestions that he holds anti-immunization beliefs.

"Everyone can recognize that corruption may occur within the medical sector, but that cannot be confused with rejection of vaccines," the response explains. "Neeson is not, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His extensive work with the UN children's agency highlights his enduring support for global immunisation initiatives."

The statement added that the performer had no hand in the documentary's editorial content and that concerns about its claims are best addressed to the producers.

Key Claims In the Film

As presented, the script provided by Neeson features several strong claims:

  • It states that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "medical science has become dangerously politicised."
  • Kennedy is featured stating, "The major issue with vaccines is that they are not properly vetted."
  • It takes aim at Covid lockdowns, saying they caused severe distress that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Concerning the immunizations, it cites a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Background and Recent Disputes

It further cites a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the topic of a correction by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, RFK Jr called on the Centers for Disease Control to revise its official position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is also referenced in the film, despite a new report from the WHO confirming no connection has been found.

An Earlier Statement of Endorsement

Differing from the documentary's narrative, Neeson has in the past shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a Unicef global ambassador.

In 2022, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary human success story," stating that "The discourse about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

"Plague of Corruption" finishes with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This is not the end of our story. Rather, it is the start of a fresh chapter."
